Paris of Dragon Bay

Quality/Price ratio one of the best on the market I have experienced in Vietnam. Staff is amazing and location is pretty central. What else? Strongly recommended.

Not much very disappointing generally. None of the staff spoke English so had to communicate using Google translate. The staff were not very helpful & didn’t seem interested in helping either.

The poor service & not being able to communicate with the staff. The location was miles from everything.

The view from the hotel was amazing, especially in the evening, you can see the sunset from the rooftop bar. For breakfast, they only have Asian options, they recommend us their Chicken pho, its suprisingly very good. Friendly staff

The room was fantastic for the price we got. Lin was really kind and helpful and she helped us get transfers. Highly recommend this hotel it has a great view right outside the hotel. Centre is 20mins walk.

It was clean, nice staff, drink water provided, kettle to make coffee or tea. Comfortable and big room.

The owner has a rooster and he is singing so early in the morning, around 5am, so you could not sleep anymore.

Balcony door does not lock. No instructions for safe use. Only Asian options for bfast. Bed is very hard. They have a chicken and Rooster chained to a tyre. Cruel and the rooster crows from 3am. The shower leaks all over the floor. Some staff would not make eye contact let alone smile. Far away from everything.

The building is very nice and well flowered. The staff very prompt to help you. As I asked for a drink on the evening, despite the bar was closed the staff accepted to prepare me what I wanted.The room is very comfortable, quiet and spacious enough

The location is quiet but maybe too quiet, there is almost nothing to do or to eat near from the hotel.

The Paris of Dragon Bay hotel truly provided me with an exceptional experience during my vacation in Ha Long. Throughout the 4 days and 3 nights I spent here, I couldn't help but praise the excellent quality of the services offered by the hotel. From the moment of booking to my departure, everything was flawless.I was deeply impressed by the luxurious and sophisticated ambiance of the hotel. The spacious room was equipped with modern amenities and offered a splendid view of Ha Long Bay. The bathroom was also upscale, featuring high-quality amenities.The professional and enthusiastic staff at the Paris of Dragon Bay truly stood out. From my arrival to my departure, they were always ready to share useful information and assist with any inquiries I had. The room service was consistently maintained with cleanliness and tidiness, ensuring a comfortable environment for me to relax.Not only in terms of service, but the hotel's dining options were also praiseworthy. The diverse and delicious breakfast menu, served at the hotel's restaurant, was a highlight. Each meal was a delightful experience, thanks to the flavorful dishes and attentive service.Lastly, I must commend the team's dedication and attentiveness, including their enthusiasm in providing recommendations for dining, entertainment, sightseeing, and other assistance. They truly went above and beyond to enhance my experience.

The exterior decor and the beautiful neighbourhood. Plenty of coffee spots around the hotel , but not dinner or lunch spots.

The bathroom shower is fashionable, but not easy to use and it was difficult to move around..

Hotel felt quite dated and the surrounding area was vacant, lacking amenities such as shops and restaurants.

No Services, such as breakfast. No Restaurants and nothing in the area. Its like a ghost town!

the room was clean and well appointed. the staff went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed and the balcony garden and rooftop bar garden were incredibly beautiful filled with orchids, a coy pond and every edible herb imaginable. we had a lovely stay here at Paris of dragon bay and would recommend it to anyone.

They let us check in super early, which was amazing.The room was spacious and staff were helpful.They gave us a Christmas bottle of wine on departure.

The mattress was like a concrete slab. Just awful. Little sleep was had.There is no actual usable balcony space, it is covered in plants that have automatic watering systems that go off during the afternoon. The balcony area near the room was nice, until we were asked to leave because they had to water (mid-afternoon) all the plants.Went to have a drink at the bar at about 4 in the afternoon, filled with 'smoke'. They said it was to freshen up the air.We placed a food order to be delivered, which they cancelled because they didn't know about it (did not even check with us or ask us, sat in reception for 15 minutes with a staff member at the desk who I told I was waiting for food) They do not even serve food here, so I don't know what the problem was.

The staff were very nice and accommodating, they were happy to extend our stay free of charge when we explained our flight the following day was not until the evening. The mini bar was about 1.5 times the cost of supermarket prices and there was a range of sweets and snacks available to buy. The room we stayed in was quite basic but had all the amenities you would expect and was clean and well laid out. Very usefully there was free toothpaste and toothbrushes in the bathroom along with Dove body wash and head and shoulders shampoo which is quite unusual. The mattresses are quite hard by western standards so be prepared if you like a super soft bed, personally I found it absolutely fine once I got used to the initial shock of flopping down on it after a long days travelling and feeling like I'd landed on the floor. One thing to keep in mind is that local people do not speak much english and the restaurants do not have english on their menus, having an app such as google translate will be useful and the locals are very friendly and keen to help out in any way they can.

This hotel is quite a long way from central Hạ Long which is on the opposite side of the river and getting to the centre requires a taxi as there is a huge bridge connecting it to the main town which is not suitable for pedestrian or cycles. The area is a newly built holiday resort and is still under construction so while it is pleasant and has a lot of potential at the moment there isn't lot going on in terms of restaurants or entertainment.

The hotel was in fantastic condition and looked as though it had just undergone a superb renovation.upon arrival we were immediately met by incredible customer service and the offer of local sights and attractions. The rooms were spacious and trendy, possessing a great deal of space and French style floor to ceiling windows. We ate breakfast in the hotels restaurant and the chicken noodles were A+. They were incredibly tasty and exceptionally well priced.Anh, a staff member, went above and beyond for my family while we stayed at this accomodation and his customer service can not be applauded more. I would personally recommend coming to this hotel and staying for as long as you can.

The hotel was modern, very clean, the tv had Netflix on it which was great, the bed was really comfy and the staff where very helpful.

the hotel is very nice, clean, everything is neatly arranged. Friendly staff, they are very enthusiastic and fully responsive to everything we need. If I have a chance to come to Ha Long again, I will definitely come back here.

there is a small problem with wifi. and they explained to us that Vietnam's undersea fiber optic cable system is having problems, and they are fixing it.

A beautifully decorated hotel, in a quiet part of Ha Long Bay. The staff and the owner made me feel very welcome and were always very helpful. The thing that distinguishes this place from many other hotels is the incredible array of plants and greenery.

There was very little to dislike. The building was a series of private homes, with internal windows, these compromise the sound proofing to some degree. There were some small issues with the WiFi that the staff were trying to fix.

I love the room. The bed is very comfortable. Clean bathroom, large bathtub. The staff are really friendly, their recommendations for eating place are great.

The pillows cover sheet should be cotton or less nylon material.
